| BOLLYWOOD AND VINE (available from October 25th 2005) SYNOPSIS Delilah who? That's exactly what the passengers on a rinky dink Hollywood tour bus ask when their Indian driver Bhuvan pulls up in front of scream queen Delilah Leigh's house. The reclusive actress hasn't made a movie in over 2 decades but Bhuvan soon becomes obsessed with the idea of whisking Delilah off her feet and onto a set in "Bollywood," India's tinseltown. He even writes a screenplay for her, a tribute to all the '60s horror flicks that reheated the careers of Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. In true Sunset Boulevard style, the aging actress and her frumpy assistant Delia soon take the fledging writer under their wings. But these "Great Ladies" aren't quite who they say they are. Delia is actually Delilah and Delilah is actually her son Devin. Confused? So is Bhuvan! |
