| CURIOUS (available from October 25th 2005) SYNOPSIS Sometimes life can be so confusing. A new erotic comedy from the director of lots of gay adult movies. REVIEW "Curious"ly penis-free this latest erotic entertainment from Ariztical (Eating Out) still manages to entertain, although we would have preferred a racier edit to this film. Ryan is set to be married to Beth, but all is not well. They have a nasty fight and Ryan wanders off in a haze, right into a gay bar! Inside he fantasizes about the stripper. They both strip together and get it on right on the stage. Right down to their underwear, they cavort on the stage deep into sexual fantasy. It should be noted here that Ryan and every person in this film is built like the proverbial "brick shit-house." Six-pack abs and a gorgeous expansive chest for our new gay boy Ryan. As the dancer takes a break he wanders over to his new fan and they chat. Ryan confesses that this is his first time in a gay bar and the dancer takes him up upstairs to "The Bull Pen" a hnady gay sex club. There they witness a leather daddy and boy deep in sexual enthrall, also genital-free. I'm not even sure how these scenes were shot without dick... Back down in the bar Ryan needs to take a leak and he encounters more action. An adorable dancer saunters up to the next urinal and before you can say "boo" the pants are down and the poppers come out. Yes, boys this feature can't show dick but poppers are used! Ryan gets so screwed up on poppers he's left disheveled in the toilet by the dancer. That's when the first dancer wanders back in again. He's got a recipe for reviving the downed Ryan, he gives him a mysterious revival pill. Ryan wanders home some time later only to realize that Beth is a friend, not a potential spouse -- he's a genuine queer. With a very high hunk quotient and a cute story this would have made a decent soft-core porn film if the filmmakers just gave us some more skin. The sex scenes are very hot and quite well produced. If you are into something quite soft, this may do the trick. Scott Cranin |
